Nick Jonas fell for his new girlfriend because his brothers like her.

The 17-year-old singer is a part of pop-rock trio The Jonas Brothers with his siblings Kevin and Joe. The brothers also star in Disney show JONAS, meaning they spend almost all of their time together.

Nick is extremely close to Kevin and Joe, so took notice when they started talking about how “awesome” their JONAS co-star Nicole Anderson was. Nicole plays a teenage groupie in the show, and is now rumoured to be dating Nick, who was so impressed by his brother’s opinions of her that he asked her out.

“It hasn’t really been a secret on set,” a show source revealed to Us Weekly magazine. “It’s sweet. Nicole is just awesome and Nick’s brothers love her. Nick works so much, it’s natural for him to fall for someone he’s with all the time.”

Nick has been romantically linked to Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus in the past.
